C5 Hydrocarbon Resin
C5 hydrocarbon resin is catalytic polymerized from the olefins which were separated from C5 fraction. The appearance is light yellow solid particles.It has a good thermal stability and a good compatibility.
Usage:
·Adhesives and pressure-sensitive adhesives: As a tackifying resin in adhesives and pressure-sensitive adhesives, it has the characteristics of high peeling bond strength, good quick adhesion, and stable bonding performance.
·Hot melt adhesives: C5 petroleum resin is used in hot melt adhesives to balance the initial adhesion and cohesive strength of hot melt adhesives.
·Paints and coatings: C5 petroleum resin can accelerate the drying speed of the paint film, improve the water resistance, acid and alkali resistance, aging resistance, surface hardness and gloss of the paint.
·Rubber tires: In rubber tires, it can improve the bonding strength and aging resistance of rubber.
·Rust and corrosion resistant additives: It has good chemical stability and heat resistance, ozone resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and weather resistance, and is suitable for rust and corrosion prevention.
·Asphalt and waterproof materials: In asphalt and waterproof materials, it can enhance the toughness and adhesion of the material and improve its heat resistance stability and weather resistance.
